2. Online Orders, Pickup, & Delivery
- Order Accuracy: Customers are responsible for verifying all order details (item selection, special requests, pickup time, or delivery address) prior to submitting an order.
- Fulfillment: Pickup orders must be collected at our 2220 Forest Ave location during the designated time window. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or peak order volumes.
- Perishable Goods: Once food leaves our premises (via pickup or completed delivery), Poppy Seed Bagels & Catering is not responsible for food quality issues resulting from improper storage, handling, or delayed consumption.
3. Catering Orders & Cancellation Policy
- Catering Deposits: Catering bookings require confirmation and, where applicable, a non-refundable deposit to secure your event date.
- 24-Hour Change & Cancellation Rule:
- All menu modifications, headcount adjustments, or cancellations for catering orders must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery or pickup time.
- Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice may be eligible for a store credit or partial refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time, including same-day cancellations and no-shows, are non-refundable.
4. Food Allergies & Dietary Disclaimers
- Our kitchen handles common allergens including wheat, gluten, milk, eggs, sesame, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts.
- While we take extreme care with customer requests, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment due to shared preparation equipment. Customers are responsible for notifying us of any severe food allergies when placing an order.
5. Payments & Tax
- All prices are in USD and subject to applicable New York State and local sales tax.
- Payment must be completed in full at the time of ordering unless prior corporate billing terms have been explicitly agreed upon in writing.
6. Intellectual Property & Liability
- All logos, images, menu text, and branding on nypoppyseed.com are the exclusive property of Poppy Seed Bagels & Catering.
- Poppy Seed Bagels & Catering shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or technical delays arising from third-party ordering systems or website interruptions.
